Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) (600–661 CE) was the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), raised in the Prophet's own household from childhood. He was among the very first to embrace Islam and dedicated his entire life to its service.
He is revered as the 4th Rashidun Caliph in Sunni Islam and the 1st Imam in Shia Islam — a figure so universally honored that his place in Islamic culture is said to be second only to the Prophet (PBUH) himself.
Known by his title Mushkil Kusha (Solver of Difficulties), millions invoke his name daily in prayer, seeking his blessed intercession in times of hardship. His legacy of justice, knowledge, bravery, and spiritual depth continues to inspire humanity across all boundaries.

Hazrat Ali (RA) was born into the Banu Hashim — the most noble clan of the Quraysh. His father, Abu Talib, was the chief of the clan and the beloved uncle and protector of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
His marriage to Fatima al-Zahra (RA), the beloved daughter of the Prophet (PBUH), united the two most sacred bloodlines in Islam. From this blessed union came Hasan and Husayn — the beloved grandchildren of the Prophet — along with daughters Zaynab and Umm Kulthum.
The descendants of Hazrat Ali (RA), known as Sayyids and Sharifs, have played pivotal roles throughout Islamic history and continue to be honored across the Muslim world.
